Historic, working cattle farm within 70000 Ha conservancy just outside the historic town of Graaff-Reinet.

Map and Directions to Veldscape

From Graaff-Reinet:

Follow the N9 towards Middelburg; Approximately 3 km outside of town is a sign post for Erasmuskloof pointing right onto a dirt road; Take this turn-off and follow the graded road for approximately 7 km; This route will cross a cattle grid, pass the SAPS shooting range on your right-hand side, cross a second cattle grid, and bring you out to the Broederstroom farm sign; Turn left at the Broederstroom farm sign; Go through the farm gates, across the ford and you will arrive at the recently renovated Cape Dutch farmhouse.

From Middelburg/Joburg:

Continuing on the N9 toward Graaff-Reinet, you will go over the Sundays river and past a sign pointing left for Pretoriuskloof. You will then pass a large white building with no windows (former Tequila factory) - take the next left turn which is a dirt road signposted "Erasmuskloof". (It is almost directly opposite the entrance to the Camdeboo Game Reserve). Follow this graded dirt road for approximately 7 km; This route will cross a cattle grid, pass the SAPS shooting range on your right-hand side, cross a second cattle grid, and bring you out to the Broederstroom farm sign; Turn left at the Broederstroom farm sign;  Go through the farm gates, across the ford and you will arrive at the recently renovated Cape Dutch farmhouse.
