About Villa Reinet Guest House

Villa Reinet Guest House, a listed national monument building, is the perfect base from which to experience the historic town of Graaff-Reinet and surrounds. Comments from past guests adorn our walls, and we would love your comments to join them.Seven rooms for accommodation are offered, two in the main historical monument building and 5 in a garden annex.  A splash pool helps to cool off in during our hot summers.

In typical Karoo style the main heritage building has lovely wooden floors, high ceilings, sash windows, and handmade French- style doors. The rooms are spacious, and each has its own style.

The Villa Studio has a romantic feel with the bath in the sleeping area and the toilet en-suite, but private with a lockable door. A working fireplace and electric under blanket beat the chill of winter. In summer air conditioning helps to keep the temperature cooler and views and access to the front garden with lots of shade give a relaxed feel.  Use of the old fashioned wooden door shutters enhances privacy at night. An extra length queen sized bed and TV complete the furnishings.

Villa Family Double deluxe, the other room in the heritage building is equally spacious, with a full bathroom en suite, including a separate shower. This room has two extra length queen sized beds, a firm family favourite with parents wanting to share with younger children or couples who prefer to stretch out in their own bed at night. In addition to the normal room amenities, this room has a small fridge.  A French door opens onto the courtyard garden, which is also close to the small splash pool.

Garden rooms set in an L shaped annex surrounding the back garden, help to form the courtyard area. Offering comfortable cosy accommodation these rooms all have garden views & access. They have an en suite, with a shower over the bath combination. Four of the rooms have extra length queen sized double beds, and one has twin single beds. Winter chill is kept at bay with wall panel heaters and electric under blankets.  Air conditioning and fans keep temperatures cool in our hot summers.

Please note : Those travelling alone are recommended to use the garden room accommodation at a small supplement cost.

Due to the limited children friendly accommodation, please always check availability with the guest house.

We are not a pet friendly accommodation as we have our own.

We are not wheelchair accessible.
