Ganora had some heavy snowfall - Great Excitement - It started on Monday 4 June 2010 at approx 20:00. Snow fell intermittendly throughout the night and in the morning it was about 30cm thick.

The roads were slippery but lots of people visited the area in their 4x4s. It is the heaviest snowfall in about thrirty years. At this stage the snow remains only on the peaks of some of the higher mountains and the roads back to normal.
