Karoo Heartland finalists in Lilizela Awards

The Lilizela Tourism Awards are South Africa's premier tourism awards. The following members of the Karoo Heartland have been included in the provincial finals for the Lilizela Awards.

Victoria Manor: Finalist in 3 star Guest House (Cradock)
The Victoria Manor is a grand old colonial hotel with an interesting history. Take a leap back in time to the 19th century simply by stepping through the door. Built sometime in the mid-1850s, this historic hotel has hosted the likes of Cecil John Rhodes, Olive Schreiner (who lived in Cradock at one time herself) and, in the 1880s, all manner of diamond and gold prospectors.
Camdeboo Cottages: Finalist in 3 star Self Cateting (Graaff Reinet)
