The Somerset East War Memorial (also called the Delville Wood Memorial) is located on Njoli Street near the western entrance to town.

The memorial was originally erected in memory of the men from the town who died during World War I and the plaque on the east side records the names of the fallen from 1914-1918. The plaque on the west side records the names of those who died during World War II, while the names of two men who lost their lives on the SS Mendi, five who died in East Africa as well as names of those who died in South Africa and South West Africa (now Namibia) are also recorded.
