The St Lawrence Anglican Church situated at Tafelberg Station near Middelburg was built by J S Distin and consecrated by Bishop Webb of Grahamstown on the 15th February 1894. Like a number of Karoo churches it is slightly off the beaten track, but if history is your thing, then well worth a little detour. It is still being used for services and weddings.
