Stepping Stones is situated in the small Karoo town of Tarkastad, about 75km from Cradock and 60 km from Queenstown. They are located just off the main road and have two units: a garden cottage and a rondavel.

The garden cottage comprises a spacious bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a full en-suite bathroom with a shower and a bath. Tea and coffee-making facilities are available in the room.

The rondavel is a large room with a double bed, a bunk bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower only. Tea and coffee-making facilities available in the room. Additional mattresses available on request.

The two units share a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, a microwave, hot plates, an oven, cutlery and crockery. There is a braai place and we can supply wood, braai packs and equipment for braaiing.

There is also secure off-street parking available.

This is the ideal accommodation for anyone wanting a relaxing break or stay-over away from the busy town life.

The resident animals include dogs, cats and chickens, and they can accommodate pets on request (provided of course that they don’t eat chickens)!
