The towns form the eastern frontier of the Karoo Heartland, where it borders on the Friendly N6 region. It’s a region where the air is clean, Karoo koppies adorn the horizon and the farming community is friendly. There is no shortage of historic sites with some parts having very close ties to the Anglo Boer War.
